Steven J. Moneypenny

Steven J. Moneypenny age 69 passed away on January 30, 2025 at Pleasant Lake Villa in Cleveland surrounded by his family.

Steve was born on March 17, 1955 the son of John and Mary Gurto Moneypenny in Conneaut.  He was a 1973 graduate of Conneaut High School.  Steve was a lifelong ironworker with Iron Workers Union Local 17. 

He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Cleveland Cavs, Guardians and Browns.  He especially loved the time he spent with his family.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Steven John Moneypenny, Jr. in 1998.

He is survived by his son Jonathan Moneypenny and Scarlett Treen of Ashtabula, daughters Mary Moneypenny of Ann Arbor, MI, Sabrina Graff-Moneypenny and Justin West of Conneaut and Michelle Miller of Cleveland, sisters Sheila and Daniel Schneider, Joyce and Tim Hackett, Brenda Ward, Faye and John Kazimer, Pam and Bill Miller, brother Jack and Susan Moneypenny, grandchildren Giovanni and Sophia, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

Prayer service will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at the funeral home, with Deacon Nicholas Iarocci officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
