Trudy M. Eckonen

Trudy M. Eckonen, age 63 of Conneaut, passed away on Wednesday, Oct 3, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Trudy was born on April 2, 1960, the daughter of Thomas and Georgeana Sackett Eckonen. She worked in Conneaut at the former Emco Wheaton factory and was also a hostess and waitress at the former Danny’s Sandbar and Pape’s Restaurant.

She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Eckonen, a brother Thomas “Bo” Eckonen, and her twin sister Tammy Schulz.

Trudy is survived by her mother Georgeana “GiGi” Drnek of Andover, son Shawn Eckonen of Youngstown, sister Tracy (Joseph) Terry of Bonita Springs, Florida, brother Troy Eckonen of Conneaut, and two grandchildren Lee Thomas Eckonen and Clara Eckonen.

At the family’s request, there will be no funeral services for Trudy.
