Mike,
I grieve for your loss...I cannot imagine losing a life-mate so dear. Most of us have our turn yet to come. Since I do not follow the Ashtabula news paper, I was not aware of Sally's passing until you called me tonight about the Celebration of Life at New Leaf. I figured it out about halfway through our conversation. I was at a total loss for words. I apologize.
You and Sally were a big part of my high school "experiences"...lots of good memories. In fact, (and I am NOT just saying this), just a week or so ago I again recalled your fancy ball
handling bringing the ball down court in a JV game and passing it to me at the top of the key and my jump shot happened to fall in.....we won by one point at the buzzer! Perfect PASS! Too bad our lives cannot be just as perfect.
BUT...I have faith that JESUS can make that perfect pass and we can live FOREVER with HIM. In the END, we WIN the GAME. I will pray that God comfort you with His loving Spirit during this trial. In Heaven, there will be no TEARS, no SORROW, no PAIN.

What a beautiful and caring lady. I worked with Sally in the school system and had her son, Nick, in my second grade class. Mike, Nick and Natalie---you have my deepest and sincere sympathy. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find solace in the many memories you cherish.
