Carole Taddeo, age 81 of Conneaut, died Tuesday morning, October 7, 2014 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.

Carole was born on May 23, 1933 in Correy, Pennsylvania the daughter of John T. and Mildred (Lay) Natto. Carole was a graduate of St. Mary Grade School and a 1951 graduate of Conneaut High School. She worked for a short time at Newbury's in downtown Conneaut and then with the Cleveland Illuminating Company for over 39 years as a Supervisor of Customer Service.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was also a member of the Conneaut Boat Club Naughty Gals. Carole enjoyed shopping for antiques and going to garage sales. She loved boating with her husband, Tony and especially traveling all over Lake Erie and visiting the Canadian ports. Carole also enjoyed wintering in Fort Lauderdale.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony P. "Tony" Taddeo, whom she married on August 11, 1962 at St. Mary Church in Conneaut, niece, Lisa Dames and nephew, Donald Dames, all of Conneaut.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor Street, Conneaut.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at St. Mary Church, 480 State Street, Conneaut with Father Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.

Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Route 20, North Kingsville, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
