Clarice M. DeNunzio, age 86 of Conneaut, died Friday afternoon, October 24, 2014 at the Villa at the Lake where she had been a resident for the past several years.

Clarice was born February 28, 1928 the daughter of Gerald and Geraldine Glenn Picard. She was a graduate of Conneaut High Class of 1946, and later married her late husband Emil DeNunzio on Aug 1, 1951 at St. Mary Church. Clarice worked at the former Conneaut Creamery, Laux's Drive Inn, also at Webb Mfc, Premix and General Electric Conneaut Base Plant.

Clarice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. For many years she would always be "poolside" in the backyard with all the friends, neighbors, her children and the neighbor kids. She liked to play bingo and watch TV in recent years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Emil DeNunzio, a son, Bill DeNunzio, sister, Geraldine Julio, and a brother, James Picard.

Clarice is survived by three sons, Dr. Joseph and Lorrie DeNunzio of Conneaut, Carl "Mike" and Joan DeNunzio of Conneaut, Richard and Gina DeNunzio of Conneaut, a daughter, Mary and Brian Sonnhalter of Roaming Shores. Ten grandchildren, Nicole DeNunzio, Joseph DeNunzio, Jessica DeNunzio, Dionne DeNunzio, Carl Michael Jr and Angie DeNunzio, Andrea and Adam Rockwell, Megan DeNunzio, Nicholas DeNunzio, Sarah DeNunzio, Matthew DeNunzio, great grand-daughter, Elora DeNunzio, and brothers, Richard Picard of Conneaut and Bill and Marianne Picard of Brecksville.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers and staff at the Villa at the Lake and Hospice of the Western Reserve for the care and compassion given to Clarice during her stay.

Family and Friends are welcome to attend calling hours from 6-8 pm Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the
Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut.

A Family funeral service will be held, Monday, October 27, 2014 at 12 noon at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, with Father Philip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Conneaut.
