Judith A. Stewart, age 76, of Conneaut, died Sunday February 12, 2017 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.

Judith was born in Conneaut, OH on August 29, 1940.  She was the daughter of Russell and Ann (Furman) Goodiel.  Judith was a 1958 graduate of Conneaut High School.  Following high school, she worked at the former Marshalls dry cleaners, EMCO Wheaton, and retired from General Electric where she worked for many years as the secretary assistant in the shipping and receiving department.

Judith was a member of the Edgewood Alliance Church in North Kingsville, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Doug Stewart in 2015.

Judith is survived by her son, Jack Redding of Conneaut, brother, Robert Goodiel, Jr. of Texas, three sisters, Kathy (Larry Raco) Goodiel of Erie, PA., Jeanne Rae Wellman of Conneaut, Shelley (Jimmy Jo) Puffer of Mentor, OH, grandson Josh Redding of Conneaut, and granddaughter Tasha Brady of Conneaut.

Private services and burial will be held at the family’s request.

Donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.  Envelopes will be available at the Raisian Family Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, where services are being handled.
